  On this Director Segment we are going to see about the another Director .He is none other Director Puri Jagganath .He was born in Pithapuram in Andhra Pradesh .He made his director debut with movie named Bhadri .He has started his director career as a assistant director with Ram Gopal Varma .He has a separate fan base among the Telugu speaking people .His movies were remade in many languages .He is known for his dialogues in his movies .His dialogues in Businessman ,Pokiri and Ismart Shankar are very famous .

    In an interview K .V. Vijayendra Prasad told that the director he likes other than his son is  Puri Jagganadh and in that interview he showed his phone .In that he had Puri Jagannaddh photo as his wallpaper. The famous director S. S. Rajamouli said " I used to spent more than one year to make a  hit film but Puri Jagganadh makes a film within 6 months and makes that as Industry Hit ".In a interview RGV said "My favorite assistant director is Puri Jagganadh" .These movies of Puri Jagganadh makes you feel that he is a world class director .



1.APPU(2002):

    This movie stares Puneeth Rajkumar ,Rakshita and Avinash in the lead roles .It revolves around the story of the college student .This movie is considered as a Hit and it has completed 200 days in many theatres .By this movie Puneeth Rajkumar gained a name called Appu .He remade this same movie in Telugu as Idiot .This movie was remade in Tamil as Dum staring Simbu and  it was also a hit in Tamil .

2.POKKIRI(2006) :

  This movie stares Mahesh Babu ,Ileana D'cruz ,Nassar ,Ashish Vidyarthi ,Brahmi and  Ali in the lead roles .This film was considered as Hit .This film was remade in many languages like Tamil ,Kannada and In Hindi .In the Tamil Version it stares Vijay ,Asin and Nassar inn the main roles .The beauty of the movie is was hit in the all the languages it was remade . 


3.AMMA NANA O TAMILA AMMAYI (2003);

     This movie stares Ravi Teja, Asin and Jayasudha in the lead roles .This movie revolves around the story of a boxer and the hard times his mother's death .This was considered as a hit and it was remade in Tamil as M. Kumaran son of Mahalakshmi ,Kannada as Mourya ,Bhojpuri and in Oddia .This film was copnsidered as the hit of the year 2003 .

4.BUSINESSMAN(2012):

    This film revolves around the story of the young man who moves from his native place to Mumbai and he becomes the Don of the Mumbai .This film was considered as the Blockbuster Of 2012 .This movie stares Mahesh Babu ,Kajal Agarwal and Prakash Raj in the lead roles .This movie has won many awards .This movie became the highest grossing movie of  2012 .This was remade in Bangla as Boss in 2013 .
