DIRECTORS SEGMENT #01

   On the directors special we are going to see about the various directors and their film making style and the awards received for their films .On this segment we are going to see about the great director Anurag Kashyap .  

      Anurag Kashyap is considered to be one of the most talented director in the Indian cinema .His movie making style does not resembles any famous actors in the world and he is praised by the other country directors for his movie making technique .His original name is Anuragh Singh Kashyap born in 27 September 1972 at Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh .He said that upto the age of 19 he does not have the desire to direct a film but when he saw the Bicycles Thief he packed his bag to Bombay to be a film maker .He is a inspiration to the aspiring filmmakers .


1.BLACK FRIDAY (2004):
      The story is about the Bombay bomb blast and it is based on the novel Black Friday: The True Story Of Bombay Bomb Blast .It stares Kay Kay Menon ,Aditya Srivatsa and Pavan Malhotra in the lead roles .The movie tells about the 12 serial bomb blast that took place in 1993 .

2.RAMAN RAGHAV 2.0 (2016) :
      The Raman Raghav 2.0 is base on the real life serial killer  Raman Raghav also known as Sindhi Talwai who hails from Pune and he has done more than 20 murders .It revolves around the Raghav a drug addicted police officer and a serial killer Ramanna .The film was screened at the various Film festival like Cannes Film Festival -2016,Singapore International Film Festival and in the Fantasia International Festival .The film stares Vicky Kaushal ,Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Shobita Dhulipala in the lead roles .The film received many acclaims during the initial release and it was a average at the box office .
3.GANGS OF THE WASSEYPUR PART 1 AND 2(2012) :
    As we all know that the Gangs Of Wasseypur is greatest creations of Anurag Kashyap .It revolves around the story of fighting for the power in the coal mines and the vengeance between the two families .This film was totaly nominated for more than 42 categories of awards and it has won 13 awards .The awards it received are from "IIFA", "Screen awards" ,"National Film Awards" and "Filmflare Awards" in the categories of Best Dialouge,Best Action and in the various categories .The Film stares Manoj Bajpayee, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Huma Qureshi ,Reema Sen and Pankaj Tripathi in the main roles .The both the parts of the film were a box office hit of the year .

4.SACRED GAMES (2018):
      The Sacred Games is a web series which was originally released in the Netflix and it is one of  highly rated web series inn India.It stares Saif Ali Khan ,Nawazuddin Sidiqqui ,Raddhika  Apte and Pankaj Tripathi in the main Roles .It is originally based on the Vikram Chands novel .It revolves around the story of the Ganster in Mumbai and the police in the 80 s .It was released as two seasons .The first season was released in the year 2018 and the second season was released in the year 2019 .In 2020 Nawazuddin Siddiqui said that there is not a third season .
